Valdivia is the nearest city to the port of Niebla.  This is a city that is mainly fluvial, which is one of its attractions.  It has a lot of history from the times when the Spaniards conquered what is now Chile.  However, it still retains the atmosphere of a nice, walkable city.  The German tradition of the colonists that arrived in the 1850s can be seen in its architecture, its gastronomy, and its beer.
