ARICA

Arica, located just 14 kilometers from the border with Peru. It is a city that has a semi tropical flavor, blessed by being right by the Pacific Ocean, and with two great valleys that can be explored: Lluta and Azapa. In Azapa, get to see impressive olive trees, and go for an olive tasting.  Also, this is the home of the local Archaeological Museum, where you can see the oldest artificial mummification system mummies in the world, three thousand years older than the Egyptian ones.

This is a city with the driest desert in the world just 25 kilometers away, and also, in the high plateau, you can explore Andean towns with a completely different landscape, and experience the culture of its people.
